Vaserna har en lång och komplex produktion. Till en början är formen skapad i trä av konstnären och före detta balettdansaren Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal i hans verkstad nära Oslo, Norge. Cooee har utvecklat originalet i keramik vaser vilket gör dem möjliga att använda med vatten och färska blommor. Den keramiska vasen har en grov, sandig yta.
''The nature around us is constantly shaped by the elements. From the major changes through the ice ages to weather's daily impact on a mountain birch and sand on a beach. Soft lines and organic forms are created. Even a seemingly straight horizon has a slight curve.
