Aiayu "Lalabye" Champagne
Aiayu skriver; An effortless layering piece, the LALABYE is sure to become a go-to favourite. Made from soft and warm Sartuul wool, the LALABYE has a beautiful drape and weight to it, making it perfect for layering. Features a classic fisherman knit pattern with contrasting ribbed borders and casual elbow-length sleeves with dropped shoulders. The fit is slightly cropped and boxy, adding to the cool feel. Sartuul wool is strong, breathable, and pill resistant, making this jumper a durable knit.
We sustainably source our Sartuul wool from the Green Gold project in Mongolia, a program which works to protect the country’s grasslands and the incomes of its nomadic herders.
FIT GUIDE:
The LALABYE has a generous and relaxed shape that is intended to fit a bit loose, but it is true to size. We recommend choosing your normal size or to size down if you prefer a slimmer fit.
MATERIAL & ORIGIN
100% Sartuul wool, a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppe. The wool is sourced from the “Green Gold” project, a Swiss development program which organises cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppe. The project helps herders preserve their traditional way of life through artisanal fiber production of heritage Mongolian breeds – like Sartuul and yak.
